File Submission Guidelines

Following these standards helps prevent production delays and unexpected print results.

InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop files are preferred and should be packaged with all links and fonts. PDF and JPG files are also accepted.

Add 1/8-inch bleed on all four sides. Keep text and non-bleeding content at least 1/8 inch inside the trim.

Use 300 DPI minimum; 400 DPI is preferred. Convert artwork to GRACoL CMYK and build black type as C0 M0 Y0 K100.

Supply spot color, Spot UV, foil, and embossing as clearly named vector separations on separate files or layers.

When exporting a PDF, use the High Quality Print preset, include document bleeds, and turn off printer marks.
Do not reduce, compress, or flatten supplied image files when later edits may be required.
For rich black backgrounds, use C60 M40 Y40 K100. For true blue, use C100 M65 Y0 K0.
Identify requested Pantone or PMS colors and provide them in vector format.
For color-critical work, provide a printed sample when available. Hard color proofs and file retouching may carry additional charges.
